THE GADROON
The Gadroon is one of our most popular arch-top designs.
It has a running pattern along the inner and outer edge and
in the centre is the gadroon moulding which gives the frame
its name. The frame have deeply carved 'C' scrolls at he base.
The finish on the mirrors is an antique gilt (not as bright
as it looks here). The frame is slightly rubbed so the terracota
coloured undercoat shows through on the highlights and the
gilt toned and lightly dusted in the hollows.
