OVERMANTEL IN THE STYLE OF WILLIAM KENT
An overmantel specially made for this dining room in a retirement
home.
The mirror was designed to complement the original plasterwork
panelling.
The mirror is in the manner 18th century architect, William
Kent. It has projecting square corners each with a flowerhead
paterae ; a flat sanded frieze and raised outer edge with
a classical running ornament and a decorative sight edge.
