ANTHEMION
A variation of the Anthemion design. The frieze
here has a black background with the honeysuckle design picked
out in gilt. Other colours can be used in the background of
the frieze to complement an interior scheme. The cornice is
decorated with gilt beechwood balls and the columns in this
example have leaf decoration at the top, bottom and centre.

ANTHEMION
A single plate overmantel with a feieze based on
a Honeysuckle or Anthemion motif a design dating from
around 1840. The mirror has a plain cornice and corinthian
fluted columns.
